KVAS is a dark drink of double fermentation with a sweet and sour taste and aroma of rye bread crisp. Kvass is made of natural ingredients; it perfectly refreshes, invigorates, relieves thirst and gives strength. With simultaneous lactic and alcoholic fermentation, kvass has great health benefits. It contains a unique set of amino acids and nutrients needed to man. A secret starter is a part of kvass recipe and based on the stories of old residents of Russian villages. Ingredients: prepared water, sugar, concentrated unfermented wort (rye flour, rye malt), pure yeast cultures and lactic acid bacteria in the form of a mixed yeast, carbon dioxide.
